Unwavering focus is the major cause of becoming successful. Students at school and college are required to maintain a strong focus and concentration in everything they do. It helps them in winning in life. Yoga teacher training India goes far beyond in improving the levels of concentration or mindfulness. We are told from a very young age to concentrate on everything we are doing. However, not much importance is laid on how to learn the art of concentration. As a result, we start getting distracted and developing concentration becomes more and more difficult. It is this one quality of concentration that everyone needs to achieve what they want in life. The quality of life gets so much better by learning how to give undivided attention to one thing at a time.

A lack of concentration and focus is the reason of most mistakes in life. There are a number of concentration exercises available which help in boosting the concentration power. However, yoga and pranayama are two ancient methods that stand out. They are two of the oldest and time tested methods used to increase concentration. A simple routine of 10-15 minutes is enough for students to give you a glimpse of the magic of yoga.

Yoga takes you to closer to achieve your desires by working on physical, mental and spiritual levels. Yoga also helps in alleviating the stress, soothes the nerves, calms the mind, increases the immunity and strengthens the body. Given below is a list of some of the most effective postures that help in boosting the confidence in a person. The postures are:

1.Kapal Bhati: Kapal Bhati is also known as the skull shining breathing method. It purifies the breath and the forehead area. A wave of purity reaches the body and majorly affects the neurons in the body with the help of Kapal Bhati. Futhermore, any kind of blockages in the subtle body get cleared with the help of Kapal Bhati. As a result of this, the life force energies get empowered and an overall harmony is created in the body. The very characteristic of procrastination goes away when Kapal Bhati is practiced regularly.

2. Brahma Mudra: Mudras are actually nothing but different gestures of our hands. Our hands carry a lot of energy and if used constructively this energy can benefit us immensely. Stillness of the hands in different mudras creates mindfulness and increase the focus. Brahma Mudra is a stress reliever and is especially known to calm down the mind. However, this mudra is majorly used as method to relax, doing it leads to improved concentration.

3. Shodhan pranayama: The nadi shodhan pranayama is also known as the alternate breathing method. It helps in purifying the nadi or the subtle life force channel. This method purifies the important energy channels making the way for an increased focus. The accumulated anxiety and stress get relieved from the body and the result is a calmer nervous system. The unnecessary minds chatter stops and a stillness of the mind leads to better concentration.

4.Bhastrika pranayama: This pranayama method is extremely helpful when a person feels sleepy at the time of work. A little time of doing Bhastrika pranayama can help a person achieve better breath and thereby an increased concentration. The uniform breath produces an energetic effect on the brain. With an energetic brain it becomes rather easy to improve focus.

5. Brahmari pranayama: Also known as the bee breath, this pranayama method help a person get rid of the unnecessary thoughts and increases the awareness of the present moment. Constructive use of the mind becomes very easy for the person with regular practice of Brahmari pranayama.

6. Tadasana: Tadasana or the mountain pose is done by keeping the feet a little apart from each other, relaxing the shoulders, inhaling deeply and finally stretching the body from the head to toe while maintaining a slow breathing pattern. It is important to raise the palm in the upward direction and stretching them while doing the Tadasana. Tadasana is the basis of other yoga asana. Both the mind and body get balanced by practicing this asana.

It is very important to stay focused for students in order to perform well. Self sabotaging creations such as anxiety, stress, tension, fear, worry, insecurities, and doubt are some of examples of an unbalanced mind. Practicing yoga on a regular basis helps the students to gain a control on their lives and do well. They are able to use their minds to its maximum potential and create positivity inside and outside.

Students must practice the asanas given above in daily life and at the time of exams to increase their mind power. In addition to staying calm and focussed, these mudras and asanas will also help the students in saying goodbye to the exam stress.
