Learn The Authentic Recipe Of Chicken Biryani For A Finger- Licking Taste!

Nothing can beat the blend of rice and chicken with aromatic flavors. You guessed it right,chicken Biryani! This article will help you understand how to blend the rice and chicken gravy properly and get the aromatic and delicious flavor of the biryani.

When it comes to perfect blend of chicken and rice, nothing can beat biryani for sure. However, the preparation takes time, but it is worth all the hard work and patience. You might want to ask your friend or partner to help you with preparation and chopping. Otherwise, preparing it alone might take you hours to complete the entire dish.

Note down the ingredients first:

  • Medium size chicken pieces marinated in curd, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, biryani masala, garam masala, black pepper, and ginger garlic paste
  • Onions
  • Biryani Basmati Rice
  • Cashews
  • Whole Garam Masala: bay leaves, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg
  • Boiled egg, optional
  • Whole green chilies
  • Raisins

Now to prepare the biryani, start with soaking the basmati rice in the water for 20 minutes. Now boil the rice in a pot and add all the whole garam masala along with salt in the same. Once the water starts boiling, add the soaked rice and boil the same. Check the rice continuously and switch off the flame when the rice is almost fluffy.

In another dish, prepare the marinated chicken and keep it aside for 45 minutes. Meanwhile you must fry the onions and whole green chilies. Slightly roast the cashews and raisins as well. Now take a wok to cook the biryani in. Put 4 tablespoon of ghee in the wok and add marinated chicken first. Now add the layer of friend onions along with cashew, green chilies and raisins.

If you wish to add boiled egg in the biryani, this is the time to slide the egg in two portions and add the same in the wok. Now, add the rice on the top. If you want a colorful biryani, you should soak the edible color in the water and sprinkle on the rice. Close the lid tightly by wheat dough. Let the chicken biryani cook on the low flame for 30 minutes till the chicken is cooked nicely.

When you serve the biryani you can sprinkle some fresh coriander and mint leaves on top. You can either serve the same with curd or mint Raita. The blend is just delicious. Chicken biryani is a weakness for every foodie! So make sure you make the best of your Sunday for your family.
