Chicken and Garlic Sugar Snap Peas
This dish is really easy to make and even good to display in the stainless steel refrigerated prep table at your restaurant. For this recipe, you will need, about 10 to 12 boneless chicken strips and make them coarsely chopped. 1 package (14 ounces) frozen sugar snap peas (thawed), 1 shallot or small onion (thinly sliced), 2 garlic cloves (thinly sliced).
In a large skillet, cook chicken until it turns golden brown on medium heat. Keep stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Cook and stir peas until they are heated through. Add shallot and garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add chicken on top and serve.
Thyme and rosemary carrots
Extremely healthy, easy to make carrot dish will be cherished by your guests.
You will need 2 cups of frozen sliced carrots, ¼ cup of butter (softened), ½ teaspoon minced fresh thyme, ½ teaspoon minced fresh rosemary, 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Put the carrot in a heated pan, stir a bit. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients. Drain carrots; top with herb butter.
Spicy beef brisket
Your uninvited guests will love this dish. For the ingredients you will need. 1 fresh beef brisket (3 to 4 pounds), 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce. 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies (undrained), 1 envelope onion soup mix, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder.
Place the brisket on a rack in a shallow greased roasting pan. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over brisket. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours or until meat is tender. To serve, thinly slice across the grain.
Best deviled eggs
Take ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons 2% milk, 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes, ½ teaspoon dill weed, ½ teaspoon minced chives, ½ teaspoon ground mustard, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon paprika, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 12 hard large boiled eggs. Additional minced fresh parsley and paprika.
In a small bowl combine all the first 10 ingredients. Cut eggs lengthwise in half; remove yolks and keep the whites aside. In another bowl, mash yolks; add to mayonnaise mixture, mixing well pipe filing or spoon into egg whites. Sprinkle with parsley, paprika and refrigerate until serving.
Blue cheese potato chips
To make blue cheese potato chips, you will need 1 package (8-1/2 ounces) kettle-cooked potato chips, 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped, 8 thin beef strips (cooked and crumbled), 6 green onions (chopped), 1 cup crumbled blue cheese.
First, preheat broiler. In a 15x10x1-in. baking pan, arrange potato chips in an even layer. Top with remaining ingredients. Then broil 4-5 in. from heat until cheese starts to melt for about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.
