A teacher…. after listening to this word, everybody remembers their school or college days. A good has more impact in forming the life of a specific person yet more than his or her parents. A good teacher can change a child’s life by proper guidance and the resolve of achieving many difficult tasks. A teacher achieves a lifetime impression in students’ life…. If we go to write about teachers, it will be endless. A good teacher’s proper education and support is very crucial to achieve goal of life.

Teachers not only helpful in educational activities, but also guide you in other extra activities. Teachers’ job goes beyond mere limited hours and days, they always guide their students any time wherever and whenever they need their help. So, in our country, a teacher has been given a place equals the God. Number of students comes to them for guidance, and they never disappoint each of them.

In India, Teachers’ day is celebrated every year on 5th September. On this day, many schools and colleges arrange different kinds of programs and functions. This day is celebrated to honor the contribution of multiple teachers in supporting and shaping the careers of a large number of pupils.

Why Teachers’ day is celebrated on 5th September in India?

This day is decided for the celebration as Teachers’ day since 1962 in honor and devotion of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan, who was born on 5th September, 1888. India’s celebration date of Teachers’ day is distinct from the world Teachers’ day which is 5th October. Teachers’ day is celebrated on 5th October every year in all across the world. But, in India we celebrate it on 5th September as it was Dr. Radhakrishnan’s wish to celebrate Teachers’ day on this day. He was an awesome teacher, scholar and guide of India and was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1954 also. This is only because this day is celebrated as Teachers’ day to pay a reward towards a number of unidentified teachers of all over the country who contribute in study of abundant students.

We cannot do anything for them, but by celebrating this day as Teachers day, we can try to pay some remuneration about what they provided us.

How Teachers’ day celebrated in schools and colleges?

On this day, Students of many schools and colleges play a role of teacher and realize how tough job their teachers do every day. Teachers’ day is not just for fun and changing role, but it is a responsibility to feel how much of hard work and time requires when being a teacher.
